Did you realize that the Facebook is not right for you? Then I bet you would like to cancel the Facebook app from your phone and do not know how to do. Don’t worry, I can help you.
Find out how to delete Facebook from Android with this guide. We will see not only how to delete the Facebook app from your phone, but also how to dissociate the account from your smartphone and how to remove the Facebook Home launcher. Let’s get started!
If you want to know how to delete Facebook from Android, the first step you need to take is to access the system settings (by pressing on the appropriate icon in the list of applications installed on your phone/tablet) and select items Applications> Manage applications from the menu that appears.
In the screen, select the Facebook icon and press first the Uninstall button and then OK to remove the application from your Android. Alternatively, you can achieve the same result by entering the menu of applications installed on the device, press the Menu key and press the Edit button first and then on the button – next to the icon of Facebook.
If you do not want to delete Facebook from Android completely but you just want to delete your account from your smartphone (or tablet), you have to go into System Settings and select the Accounts and sync from the menu that appears.
On the next screen select the entry for your Facebook account, and then press the button Remove account and confirm the deletion of the data (on the phone only, not from social networks) by pressing the Remove account button.
If you have installed on your Facebook Home Android smartphone (currently only compatible with a few devices) and you’ve repented, you can easily remove it by pressing the menu button on your phone and accessing the settings of the launcher. Next, select the entry to turn off Facebook Home and uninstall the application from the terminal.
