The Web browser includes a private browsing mode that lets you surf the web from being stored on your computer by preventing the addresses of sites visited, their cookie , the list of downloaded files, searches on Google , the information filling out forms and other temporary files that normally are retained when you browse with Firefox or any other web browser.

To activate the private browsing mode on Windows, all you have to do is to click on the orange Firefox button located in the upper left corner and select New Window from the menu that appears anonymous . This will open a window that looks like a mask on the top left in which you can surf any Web site without leaving a trace of your work session on the PC. At the end of browsing, close the Firefox window and no one will know what you did or what sites you’ve visited .

If you’re using a Mac, you can turn on Private Browsing mode in Firefox by going into the browser’s File menu and selecting New Window anonymous in the latter . After this nothing different respect what we said about the Windows version of the software. Just surf , close the window at the end of the work session and all traces will be removed from your computer.

It is a modified version of Firefox configured to use the TOR anonymizing network, which allows you to conceal your identity online by “bouncing” all the time the connection between various PCs around the world.

Although TOR is a very complex system, using it is really easy. All you need to do is to connect to the Internet site of the program and click on 32-bit,the item placed under the heading  Microsoft Windows to download it on your PC. When the download is complete open, double clicking on it, the file you just downloaded (example, tor-browser-2.3.25-12_it.exe) and in the window that opens, click on Run.

Then you have to choose the folder in which unpack TOR Browser and click on the Extract button to start the extraction of the application. When the operation is complete, open the folder where you extracted the program and run the Tor Browser Start Tor Browser.exe to begin to surf anonymously on the Net (you ‘ll have to wait a few seconds for the connection to the Tor network ).

TOR Browser is also compatible with Mac. Just download the application by clicking on  64-bit, the item placed under the heading Mac OS X on its official website . When the download is completed open it, double clicking on it, the file you just downloaded (example, TorBrowser – 2.3.25 -12- osx – x86_64- en.zip ) and drag the icon into the Applications folder TorBrowser_it OS X. Next, start TorBrowser_it by right-clicking on its icon and selecting Open twice in a row to start browsing anonymously with Firefox.
